I have found out where our Indian Heritage came from In Cora's bible it says Mandy with Cherokee written next to it,, I am investigating this now and with Cora's family's help we are narrowing the Indian heritage down.. Mandy would have been Amanda Wright Mullinax my great, great grandmother..I have found Amanda Mullinax on the Wallace roll of 1896. The dates match up with her being married at the time. I am sending off for a copy of her application and hopefully this is my great great grandmother that is on the roll. Her Indian name was Lotus Flower<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< |
