As community choruses go, the Oldham County Singers do not have a long storied history. However, that should not matter if you are singing for the pure
joy of it
and seeing yourself grow as a musician. The Oldham County Singers were organized in 1999 by Anne and Don Helton, and continue today under the
very capable leadership of Angela Fitzpatrick.
Ms. Fitpatrick has been the director
since 2001 and brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to the group.
Our repertoire is varied enough to satisfy the tastes of anyone of any age, ie broadway show tunes, American folk melodies, hymn arrangements, classical and
baroque pieces, and popular music from the 40's, 50's, 60's, on up to the modern sounds of today.
The Oldham County Singers are available for your Church or Civic function.
