Boy Scout Troop 9 is chartered by the Browder Memorial First United Methodist Church south of Sweetwater, TN. The troop at this time consists of eleven boys ages ranging from 10 to 18. The boys work hard to achieve ranks by fulfilling requirements laid out in the Scouting handbook. We are part of the Unaka District in the Great Smoky Mountain Council. We enjoy outings that include camping, backpacking, and hiking; as well as water sports such as swimming, canoeing, etc. Troop 9 meets every Tuesday at 6:30pm until 8:00 pm at the building beside Browder Memorial United Methodist Church.
