Welcome to my home page for Cottin Pickin Dairy Goats.My name is Tara Keener and I raise Oberhasli, Sables, Saanens and Nubians.And a token Kinder left.I also have EJ the newest addition, a standard Donkey.I also have Anatolian Shephards and a Shiz Tzu who thinks she is a gaurd dog.And a rescued 10 year old Maine Coon Cat who is a 18# ball of fire and ice.My husband Rodney owns the Shady Vale Saanen and Sable herd as well as manages his mother and grand mothers herds, Blackfoot Sables and Shady Glen.We live on 35 acres just North of the cool breezes and white sandy beaches of Pensacola Florida in Cantonment right on N Hwy 29.My husband has been in goats for 16 or so years and I've been raising them for 10 yrs.We are newlyweds of 4 year and our goats are how we met.Together we run from 40 to 50 head of goats.I love to make cheese and soap from the deliciouse milk.Contact me at kidntyme@bellsouth.net for any questions or more info.This is a site in progress so check back for updates and added photos.
