As stated in our charter, the purpose of our organization is to encourage the scientific study of plants and their culture, specifically roses, both old and modern, and to encourage the planting of roses for civic beautification.
We meet at The Garden Club of Jacksonville, 1005 Riverside Drive.
Meetings are held at 7 PM on the first Tuesday of every month except January and July. Guests are always welcome.

Our founders chose the slogan "Roses Grow in Jacksonville". They hoped to encourage the planting of roses at a time when roses were thought to grow well only in cooler climates.
Today, after nearly fifty years of research and experience, Deep South Rosarians
grow some of the most vigorous roses in the country.
