Mission Statement: To protect the long-established character of the Westridge Corridor, both by preventing rezoning and establishing a Neighborhood Conservation Overlay (NCO).
NEXT COMMUNITY NCO MEETINGS Dec. 4 at 7pm - Greek Orthodox Church Our next meetings with the Greensboro Planning Department will be this Tuesday. The first two NCO meetings went well with increaing turnout of households turning out to review possibilities of what could be included and what is currently permitted under the existing ordinance. WNA UPDATE: The wooded Westridge lot on the 1200 block (where the rezoning was defeated) sold under Feb. 22 contract for $275,000 to the Sykes (surveyors), but is reportedly being considered for resale. WNA committee members had two lunch meetings with Arnold and Jack Sykes, and they reportedly gave a verbal promise to work with our group. Details to follow when available
Westridge Traffic News: Bike lanes: Recall that City ordinance prohibits parking or driving a motor vehicle in a Bike Lane.
