Box 831 Black Mountain, NC 28711 Phone: 828-669-9562 Email: gretchenhoward@bellsouth.net The garden and grounds of Wolf Creek Cove are available for outside weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, intimate conferences, summer parties or other joyous occasions and celebrations May- October each year. The Creekside Chapel is built alongside Wolf Creek. Its cathedral ceiling, intimate lighting, ceiling fan, benches and flower boxes make it the perfect place for the ceremony and later the dance floor. The Chapel can seat approximately 60 guests-- if you are planning for a larger wedding, you will probably choose to seat guests on the lawn. We consider 150 people to be the maximum number for our wedding site. In addition, there is a screened Summer House, perfect for a small reception by itself, a place for the bride to get ready, or just a quiet spot for guests to kick back and relax on the day beds, rocking chairs or futon. The Summer House has a soaring ceiling with paddle fan and a wrap-around porch furnished with rockers and a porch swing. You can use The Chapel and The Summer House together to create a variety of possible settings for sit-down dinners, buffets or receptions. Both The Creekside Chapel and The Summer House are set in a lush garden in a wooded glade along Wolf Creek. The Japanese bridge connects across the creek to a meditation path which circles through a rhododendron dell on the island. The garden is entered through an English gothic arch sculpture and along the fenced parking terrace there is space for twenty -five cars with additional space for five or six more cars on other places on the property.
